Welcome to the Office.
For those of you that don’t know, I am the founder of Bizarro Pulp Press. That’s what this page is all about. A lot of you have shown an interest in knowing who is behind this newfound Publication. I founded the company on New Year’s Day, 2013.
Bizarro Pulp Press grew from a love of the Bizarro genre. The world of vampires, werewolves, and zombies held a special place in my heart, but something inside craved more. Bizarro fiction broke every literary paradigm, and presented a table of endless dishes for the mind to devour. Bizarro is a treasure hidden beneath the thick layers of glitz and glamour of best seller lists. Bizarro offers a multiverse waiting to be explored where every world discovered is unique. Each story destroys everything you know and rebuilds it in the form of the author’s creation. I want to share my newfound love with like-minded people, both readers and writers alike. Bizarro Pulp Press intends to do just that by stretching the boundaries of publishing one relationship at a time. If you don’t know Bizarro, then you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s not too late. Hop on board.
Why do I feel like I have what it takes as a publisher?
Well, for the last five years I spent my days touring nationally as a singer-songwriter. After having spent all that time booking tours and playing shows, I learned one valuable thing; the value of networking and relationship building. I will have you know that I also spent all of that time on the road as an independent musician. That meant self-promotion. Was I successful enough at it that I made millions and went platinum? No… but I was successful, and that is what matters. I know firsthand what it takes to develop your craft and making a living doing so. In the last two years I have also released more than a dozen books with various publishers. So yes, I have experience in the publishing world from the side of being an author. That is always a plus.
Being a published author. Understanding the value of hands on promotion. And a genuine love for the genre. That’s me and that is why I stated Bizarro Pulp Press.
